Zaatar (Gin) Tonic

A drink that’s equally refreshing and unique! This Zaatar (Gin) Tonic is the ultimate Mediterranean twist to your usual go-to beverage. Herbal, citrusy, earthy and oh-so-refreshing. Who’s trying this first? 🥒🍋‍🟩 Recipe: - Use 1 tsp Lebanese Zaatar mix to dip the glass rim with (we used Premium Qawzah by Terroirs du Liban ) - Add crushed ice or ice cubes, depending on preference - Slice cucumber using a vegetable peel and add 1-2 slices into the glass - Pour 150 ml tonic water (we used Fentiman’s dry tonic water) - Add 1-2 tbsp Zaatar distillate (100% essence, non-alcoholic, we used the one frm Nomah Gourmet ) - Add 50 ml Mediterranean Gin (we used Ginbey by Domaine des Tourelles). Skip for a non-alcoholic drink and replace with additional tonic water. - Stir with a straw - Finish off with a lime squeeze and a slice of lime for decoration Prost 🍸
